Quote after nozzle condition, not before. At Feature Equipment we write from Sunnyrock and regional showrooms, not from a brochure. Most SA SME plants under twenty people run on partial systems: a WhatsApp thread that acts as a MES, a shared drawer that is also a junk drawer, and a plant lead who is still the backup for every role. In that context, this specsheet note is less about theory and more about protecting Tuesday. We map the decisions that must happen before the first cut, before the pierce, or before a sample leaves for site. It is easy to overbuild the crib on day one. When the team is tired, the note is the short sentence they can still defend in a standup.
Start with one blocker sentence. Open one equipment path. Run the specs leaf before you decorate the crib. Print the bay card so load-shedding cannot erase the plan from a whiteboard alone.
